Dashboarding

Looker Studio dashboard for e-commerce, one screen with your real numbers.

You shouldn't have to log into four systems to know how things are going. We build a single dashboard on your own account, where your online store, your campaigns, your organic traffic and your margin sit side by side. Real-time, and without anyone having to update a spreadsheet first.

The problem

For most online stores, reporting is a monthly chore that nobody enjoys and that arrives too late to act on.

  • Numbers are scattered across Google Ads, GA4, Search Console and your backend, each with its own definition of a conversion.
  • The monthly report is a PDF full of charts that never says what you should do about it.
  • If you want to check in between, you have to ask someone.
  • Standard dashboards show revenue, while you're steering on what's left per order.

The opportunity

A good dashboard changes the conversation. Instead of explaining what happened, it becomes about what you're going to do now. We build it in Looker Studio on your own Google account, fed from the measurement setup underneath, with margin included so you see straight away what a campaign delivers. You click through it yourself, and you keep it if the collaboration ever ends.

Our approach

What goes into your dashboard.

The setup differs per store, because a dashboard nobody opens is wasted work. This is the base we start from.

01

One overview screen

Revenue, orders, ad spend and profit per order on a single page, with the comparison to the previous period right next to it.

02

Broken down by channel

Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, organic and the AI sources shown separately, so you see where growth is coming from instead of guessing.

03

Margin in view

Your product margins linked to your orders, so alongside ROAS you also see what's left per order, and loss-making product groups jump out.

04

Organic performance

Search Console data with positions, impressions and clicks, including the report on AI Overviews and AI Mode that Google has provided since June 2026. That report only counts impressions, no clicks, and we flag that too.

05

Signals and thresholds

An alert when the cost per order crosses a limit, or when conversion measurement stalls, so you notice it on the day itself instead of at the end of the month.

06

On your account

The dashboard lives in your own Google environment. We build and maintain it, you own it and always keep access.

In the Growth System

Stage 01: the screen where you track the system.

Dashboarding is the visible side of the measurement foundation. It's also where the flywheel from the Growth System becomes checkable: organic and paid sit side by side with the same definitions underneath, so you see what happens the moment one of the two picks up speed.

Frequently asked questions

What clients usually ask.

Missing a question? Email or call us, the lines are short here.

Why Looker Studio and not an expensive BI package?

Because it fits almost any online store, is free to use, and connects directly with Google Ads, GA4, Search Console and BigQuery. If you have needs it genuinely can't handle, we'll say so, but that's rare.

Can my online store data go in it?

Yes. We link order and margin data from your store or your data warehouse, so the dashboard works with what's in your own system, not just what the ad platforms report about it.

How up to date is it?

For most sources it runs in step with the platform itself, so you're looking at today. Some connections refresh in Looker Studio with a short delay. We note that in the dashboard, so you never look at an old number without knowing it.

Do I still get a monthly report then?

Yes, but as commentary rather than a numbers overview. The numbers already live in your dashboard. The report tells you what we did, what it delivered, and what's on the plan for next month.

What happens if the collaboration ends?

The dashboard stays yours. It sits on your account, so you remove our access and everything else just keeps working.

One screen that shows what your online store is really doing.

Show us in the growth session which reports you currently use, and we'll sketch what the same picture looks like with your margin included.
